I was thinking possible Russian embassy too but wasn't sure if it would have Arabic writing on it.
Plus there are no fences/gates and I'm used to the embassies being sort of walled-off.

There are only a couple countries that have to protect their embassies against truck bombs, and I don't think that anybody had conceived such a thing in the '50s.
