Took some real detective work to figure this out! I only had the "K,E, and U" to work with and a super vague outline of something below it. The dealer sticker on the back was Stoval-Wolfe out of Durham. I knew the Bus had been repainted from the OG Dove Blue to another Blue a bit lighter. Then I did dome google searching of the area and Duke University popped up,,Bingo!!! That fit the lettering. At that point I was determined to keep the lettering after the partial re-paint. It was confirmed when I did the football trick (irony) on the lower nose, I found a very brittle note pad sheet listing helmets, uniforms, and a few other supplies. I'm assuming the bus worked in the athletic department at Duke. I'm planning on contacting the athletic department to see if they have any pictures from the day.
