I am wanting to purchase a Thing. I would like to tow it behind my motorhome. Will a standard beetle tow-bar work on a 1974 Thing?

Please advise

There are two types of tow bars. One is for super beetle and the other one bugs. The averahe price is $ 49.00 to $ 55.00 dollars. get the one that is for Bugs. it comes with clips to lock into the front beam. the other is a two piece tow bar that is for super beetles.
I tow my "thing" with no problem with this bug tow bar. even though that I tow with a 12" lifted truck. Don't forget to get towing lites at Pep Boys they are very in-expensived. Also when you get your tow bar read the directions as how to mount it and adjust it.
