I believe this process was used when they cleaned the inside of the Statue Of Liberty during the restoration. All the claimed advantages are probably true but conspicusously missing from the list was COST. I'll bet it's not cheap.

I was thinking of using this process myself.
I ran across this company while doing research:

Since I used to be in the Paint & Body business, I'm
gonna do it all myself.

I called the Baltimore facility last week to check
on cost of renting the equipment and the cost
of the Dry Ice media.

They guy said that in his experience Dry Ice isn't
suited for stripping paint/Rust from a car body.

He has had many body shops use his equipment and they werent satisfied.
I'm glad he was honest with me, cause he coulda been a sheister
and rented me the equipment anyway.
