sweet, save money because they are reuseable and seal better? it doesnt get much better than this. they are only $19 a steal |

I've run rubber valve cover gaskets before, and they sealed great until the first time I took it down the track and it sucked a gasket in and downed the track with oil. Unlike cork, rubber gets REAL slick when it's oily.
I don't know if the silicone would have this same problem or not, but it would be something I would look out for. _________________ Eric Allred

Gentlemen: If you have sheet metal valve covers, use an awl and punch around the outside perimeter. This will hold cork, as well as rubber gaskets to the valve cover. It sounds like you definately have a breather problem. You need to open up the square area for breathing. Terry |
