I am a new 71' Square owner and I am still somewhat ignorant when it comes to my new baby. She has dual baby weber carbs and I believe a 1600 cc engine. I have been told that the valves in these engines need to be adjusted approx. once a month by someone that I almost bought from, but then the guy I ended up buying from didn't know what I was talking about when I mentioned it. Please respond and thanks in advance.

Not every month..... Every 3-6000 miles iwill suffice.
But if the person you bought it from didn't know wabout it, I would do them now or get someone to do it.
