I just bought a complete dash for my Kombi from Adam. Talk about a part that was hard to package! Adam did a great job, and it arrived by Greyhound just as promised, thanks Adam. I would buy from him again.

Thanks again for the smooth trade deal on the emblem, Adam! Much appreciated and the emblem looks sweet on "Rusty The Bus". It was a perfect match to the rusty theme. |

I called Adam one morning and asked him about a bus he had for sale with a messed up roof. I dont remember his exact price I think it was like 1500 I only had 750 cash and told him that on the phone. He told me to drive down and take a look and we could discuss the price. So i drove from Tacoma to Boring to look at the bus and it was in VERY VERY VERY VERY bad shape
the roof looked like some kids had sledge hammered the roof in and the rest of the bus was in OK shape for being a Split in the PNW
after driving all that way looking at the bus went to discuss the price (like he said we could) and he just said no I never drop my price for things and then said something like some dumb kid from Portland will buy it.
Adam let me waste my time and his. I drove 160 miles to look at a shitty split window and talk to one of the rudest VW people i have ever met. He could have just said I want 1500 sorry. Instead he let me drive all the way down there.
there is a lot of people on here that like adam and that is chill. I am glad! just thought some of you should know |

in response to 517...........he had called and asked about the bus......i definately did not hype it up in any way, when he called he had said he was visiting a friend in portland.
over the phone he had asked if i would take less and i said no,he still wanted to see it,he spent alot of time talking about how bad it was and that i should sell it for less to him. i told him over the phone if he didnt have the asking price that we shouldnt waste each others time.....he said he had to see it? one of the strangest visits ive had.
.............big time low balling,i was never rude and i did say that i hoped someone would step up and buy it/save it.......eventually someone did buy it just for the nose and a few other parts
517 struck me as someone who is personally troubled,i still hope the best for him _________________ Have a great day! |

back in 2007 I bought a rust free 65 bus from Adam, without seeing it.
Wired him the money, called WFL and before I knew it, it was sound and well in Belgium. Bus was as described and the price was really fair.
Would buy from him again, no doubt. |
