Great show! Big crowd and a variety of Dubs. Volksworld was out last year taking pics. The raffle was good and had pretty big items. It was hotter than heck last year but it is in a park and you are allowed to park on the grass under a whole bunch of trees. So YES, I would say go if it is within your means. Hope to see ya there _________________ "It is EASIER to customize a car then it is to RESTORE one"

Looks like I will have to round up all the H.B. peeps for this one. I love the cruise after the meet. So sick to see all those dubs cruising together at once. And the looks from the passerbys... Good job Sal. |

I am concidering the campout Saturday night then leaving early on Sunday for the cruise. I handed out flyers at both of our cruises last night and seems as though there is going to be a good turnout. No one really expressed an interest in Featherly park in my area. More flyers will be handed out on the Thursday meet as well. Hope my car is done in time so keep your fingers crossed for me guys... |

Good job on spreading the word, you and me both have work to do on our dubs 13MM. The cruise will be about 13 miles, but very scenic miles Here's the route:
Get on the 110S on sepulveda
go over the two bridges into long beach
stay on ocean
merge on to e. livingston
make a right on e.2nd st
make a right on bay shore drive
make a right on e.ocean dr
and park at the beach in the parking lot where the longbeach olympic pool is at. _________________ Zombie

Meet on Sunday was great, saw the comeback of FastbackDons fastback after extensive upgrades to diskbrakes all the way around, 44Webber fed 1776 motor and new interior. Rays Notchback made it back after seizing his motor on a previous cruise with new paint. Lots of pics in the gallery http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/album_search.php?search_author=auslander

Hi Sal & Fastback Don
Sorry recently I have not been to your meet and cruises.
I purchased the house in lower desert and spend time there on weekend.
now desert is getting hotter by each day, I have more time to enjoy with
the south bay dub club.
see you on next meet.
Roy
