This might be a stupid question, but I see the Bently Manual for the transporter 1963 to 1967. ($99) Is this manual updated through all type II's through 67 or does this cover changes after 63 only? |

it covers type 2 from 63-67....theres others that cover the other years..
and you can get it for like $69.00 last i looked at

the book is only specific to 63-67, but 90% of the information is the same for the earlier buses. of course the later manual doesn't have any 36hp info, etc. |

The earlier one ('50-62) is quite a bit bigger than the later ('63-'67) one. That is because we combined parts of three factory originals into one volume.
They both also have model year specific wiring diagrams, in black-and-white, unfortunately. But the diagrams are available in color right here the Archives.
Basically get the one that applies to your year. If you've got more than one bus (early and late), it's probably best to start with the later one. Eventually you'll want the early one too, they're both pretty extensive and worth every penny! |
