I bought a bug beam from Franklin's,and the whole deal was excellant. They called and let me know when it was shipped, and made sure everything was just what I wanted. It's too bad Mike Anderson of Miroan Werks doesn't deal like that.I sent him money for spindles, and now he won't return calls,or respond to any emails. He should learn to do business like Franklin's does. _________________ Drag bus! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2MOVmKdhX4

I got a 3" beam from Franklins and I am never going to anyone else for my nerrowing needs! Plus, his disk brake kits are something to drooool over! Plus the Flowmasters!
Kind of off the topic but I have to ask you Bill...why are you "6d6vdub" when I see in your Avatar a 67? A 67 is not an early in my eyes! Now when do I get my parts back from you? |

Gotta say, I like this beam.
Bought a 4" beam from Franklin a few weeks ago when I went to Seattle on bidnes'.
Shop is cool to hang out in, lots of cool stuff to look at and Franklin is definatlely pasionate about what he's doing.
The beams workmanship is great, clean even welds and the adjusters are cleanly installed as well. I wanted shock towers and was impressed that the thing fit like a glove, I mean absolutely perfect. The cool thing was the trailing arms, the offset was perfect on both sides.
Definately recommend Franklin, easy to work with and product kicks ass. _________________ 63 Dee "lux Interior" RIP Lux

I have purchased many beams from Franklins. My first was just an adjustable beam, then a 3 inch narrowed, then a 4 inch narrowed, a 4 and 1/2 inch narrowed with shock towers, a 5 inch narrowed with shock towers, and a 5 and 1/2 inch narrowed with shock towers, all beams were created from my german beams, so I had the zerk fittings, many with disk brakes, and dropped spindles, all without any body mods. I have plenty of shock travel, can use any shock I want, grb's, oil shocks, or boge shocks. I really like the ride, even with the lowered stance. I would not hesitate to run one of Frank's beams on any of my cars. Additionally, I have a DC he did all the suspension on, and the straight axle kit, and a 4 inch narrowed dropped spindles, disc brake kit, a '57 with link king suspension, a '66 with ball joint suspension, a '57 vert that he will be doing the work on and multiple other projects.
He will always take the time out to answer any questions, and always happy to give a tour of the shop. Never too busy for his customers. |
