1972 2000cc pancake what type of throttle cable tube holder could i use for holding the throttle tube in place once i moved it over to aline with the carb.

Drill a hole and hand thread a Flare Adapter in the tin. I've done this lots of times. It works great. They're available in lots of size combos.
Get em at any plumbing supply or auto parts store. Wink
