Enjoy more than 600 Volkswagen buses at this year's Buses by the Bridge. What started as a split-window campout has turned into a Volkswagen extravaganza with VW buses coming from all over the county to camp out in our Lake Havasu State Park. This event will showcase VW buses of all makes and models including vintage. Gather the kids on this bright and beautiful Saturday to help burn off some extra energy in the bouncy houses. For some adult fun, we encourage you to enjoy a scenic hot air balloon ride or participate in the chili cook-off. The finale of this groovy event will be a delicious pancake breakfast on Sunday morning. ENTRANCE FEES $5 per person for walk-in spectators (children 17 years old and younger are free), good all weekend as long as you have your wristband on. See the Buses by the Bridge fees for camping rates. For a full event schedule, click here Campers, motorhomes, trailers, non-VW Vans, etc. can park in the designated RV parking area. Pre-registration NOT required. There is space to accommodate over 600 vehicles. Parking is first come-first served, however, State Park rules apply. Pets are welcome, but must be on a leash at all times (this means all pets, not just dogs). Absolutely no pets are allowed on the beach at any time (State Park rule). You must pick up after your pet! No glass! No glass containers are allowed (State Park rule). Quiet time begins at 10pm (State Park rule). No fires on grass-no exceptions! Gates open on Friday at 11am, kicking off a weekend filled with friends, food, laughter, and relaxation. All cars entering the park MUST register for the car show and MUST park in their respective class. There will be NO pre-registration for either the car show or swap. You will queue up in the bottom parking lot and pay at the gate and register your car at the club booth after you park your car inside the park. Because of park concerns with people leaving early in their cars before the show ends, we ask if you think you have to leave early that you please park your car outside and walk-in. The New Old Stock VW Club and the Madera Fairgrounds invite you to camp, swap and show on grass near trees for nearly 3 days. This year's marquee will be the what else? The VW Type 3. We hope to get the largest showing of Type 3's to celebrate our 30th year in, California. Our event benefits the Madera Rescue Mission. Camping opens 12 noon on Friday April 25. We have limited power. We do have both real bathrooms, showers and porta potties. Camp in your swap space 20' x 20'. (Most truck and trailer rigs take two spots.) VW show is Sunday 7 am to 3 pm. So what's happening? Friday night is the enhanced movie night with pop corn and other goodies. Sunday VW coloring contest, Hot Wheels Drag Racing and banana eating contest for the kids and those who are kids at heart. Saturday night free diner VW show at Mountain Mike's Pizza. Gates will close nightly at 10 pm for security. All dogs must be on a leash at all times. Madera Fairground rules. Please no loud stereos or alcohol consumption. Quiet hours 10 pm to 6 am. Madera PD will enforce. No reservations. Cash only at the gate please. We park in class or park with your club. We have a parade of champions. Please no cruising around the grounds. Each space is $40 per vehicle and includes driver admission. No Trailers allowed in Swap Area. This event is a must-attend for automotive enthusiasts of all kinds, offering a unique opportunity to dive into a massive collection of thousands of automotive parts, accessories, memorabilia, and more. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just starting to build your collection, Swapfest provides the perfect environment to buy, sell, and swap while connecting with fellow car lovers who share your passion. It’s an honor for us to host such an important part of the automotive hobby, where enthusiasts can not only find rare and hard-to-find parts but also engage in meaningful conversations with others in the community. In keeping with the authentic spirit of a traditional swap meet, all items offered for sale at Swapfest must be automotive-related. This includes parts, accessories, vintage memorabilia, and tools, catering to every type of automotive enthusiast. The focus is on a grassroots, collector-to-collector exchange, so only private sellers will be permitted—no commercial vendors allowed. This ensures a more personal, genuine experience for all attendees, fostering a community of enthusiasts who are passionate about preserving, restoring, and enjoying vehicles from every era. Swapfest will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mid America Motorworks corporate campus, located at North Rte. 45 in Effingham, IL. When: Dubs in the Shrubs – June 21-22, 2025 Where: Tall Cedars Picnic Grove, 245 Sawmill Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08620 Hosted by: the Old School Euros Car Club (OSECC), Levittown, PA Levittown PA Chapter of the Vintage VW Club of America (VVWCA) Day One (Campout) – June 21 Dubs in the Shrubs is a 2 - day Air and Water Cooled VW vehicle car show this year. Camping starts at 3pm on June 21 and the gates will close at 9pm. There will be a DJ and fire pit near main building. We will have a movie night also. An award will be issued for "Best VW Campsite Display" on Sunday. Day Two (Car Show/Swap Meet/Vendors) – June 22 All campers must be moved out of the show area by 8am and moved to the parking lot or to the show and swap meet area. All vendors will need to be set up ASAP so all the swap meet people can come in and set up. There will be car show awards for the Top 25 vehicles in Air Cooled and Water Cooled categories, a OSECC Choice, and four specialty awards. There will be a DJ, food vendors and a Kid’s Car Show. Car show is 9am to 3pm. Registration closed at 12:00pm , awards by 3pm. Day Two (Kid's Car Show) – June 22 If your child enjoys going to the car shows with mom and dad why not get them involved bring their power wheels, pedal cars, push cars or even a custom wagon and enter it in their own little show and make them feel proud (please do not drive around the show cars and disconnect the battery in the power wheels once in the show area). Awards will be given to all. Camping: Adults camping: $10 (Children under 12 are free) Show cars: Day of $20. Kid’s Car Show, no fee. Swap meet: Day of $20 per space Vendors: Day of $20 per space (Please no other Empi distributors) Spectators/Public: $1 donation to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital |

The show is located at Rogers Point Park at 4000 N Highway 66, Catoosa, 74015. The show is June 7th from 9am - 3pm. The show is Volkswagen only show. We have a Fab 15 award given out to 15 of the cars. No classes divided by years or type of Volkswagens; the only class is Volkswagen. This show is a fundraiser for a local charity that helps kids that have been burned and or disfigured ages 6 -16. There is primitive camping in the park all weekend. There is live music, food, kid zones, vendors, bike brigade and many other events. Registration is $25 per car and free to the public.
