As far as I know they were all chromed, even though its pot metal.
Maybe the textured part was not chromed as much? Not sure on that.

This is another "one" only frame for now its a chick iverson frame with "USA" in top instead of newport beach. PLEASE EV add this one to the list 8)

Came across these Palm springs VW license plate frames. They are metal but look to be a newer style frame.

Any ideas or history on these???

Came Across This is a VW collection. It doesnt say VW specifically but Given it says Germany but is in English makes me wonder. Tourist Delivery Program?

no, not at Bjorns, different guy. Bjorn had bunch of other cool stuff. i got some MN plate frames from there last weekend.

It's even a Robert Brown. The only USA Chick Iverson frame I've ever seen and I've had all the variations.

Here’s a challenge

This is a very distorted picture of a Washington plate on a 55 bus.
The bus was originally received by Riviera Motors, but appears to have lived most of its life in Seattle.

Please can someone identify the Dealership name on the plate surround?

It almost looks like Missoula (Montana) on top, which is 500 miles east of Seattle.
