I don't know of any internet listing, but I have been collecting old dealers and distributors booklets for quite some time. I have about 25 of them now ranging from '58-'75. they are pretty good for figuring out what the dealerships are in certain areas in certain years. PM me if you want me to look anything up in them. |

I didn't. Empicollector is being nice enough to send it to me for free. I'll definitely be owing him a favor down the road.

Actually, I remember talking and working with Scott McWilliams on it a ways back. Didn't actually realise that it was up and working!

Ooooh, bummer. Call over to Peninsula Automotive in Campbell. They might have some. In the meantime, the Riviera frame is on the camper now.

Quote: Ken, is that Sequoia Park one from California? I should check my dealer listings book. I have one from Fresno, but it's Gardner VW. I have some other local Bay Area ones. Here's the one from Apollo VW
My bus is from fresno and thats the plate frame I need. Gardner was the fresno vw dealership. In case you didnt know it was on blackstone and shaw fresno Ca. Its long gone but i found a pic of it in one of my moms old year book. 1970 looks like some 69 bugs on the lot.
i have only seen 4 gardner plates in my vw history. |

| well, i just got off of the phone with volkswagen of chattanooga, and they said don wood vw closed years ago. looks like im at a dead end! oh well, rita is keepin her dealer frame. i have been able to get some history of it off of the previous owner, he bought it from a guy who lived in tn. so maybe don wood was the dealer rita was sold at. |
