Is it common to add deluxe trim to a standard 11 window Kombis?

And what is that sparkplug dealio in the engine compartment?

Hell people put deluxe trim of crew and single cabs. They were some of the most plain “worker” buses available. He is selling to the people that want that king of thing a shiny over restored bus.

The spark plug thing is a common accessory from back in the day when parts weren’t as high quality as today and spark plug fouling wasn’t uncommon. And people could and would work on their own stuff.

I'm doubting this is NOS because I've owned/seen a few NOS speedos and NONE of them had the odometer on 0. They always had a few test miles.

Also the needle isn't on zero.

It looks super nice but I think it's restored.

Maybe the correct price, but for asking that much maybe post photos that don't have some sort of weird filter on them?

I noticed that too.
I think he resized some tiny thumbnails to be larger or something.

He had another ad 18 monbths ago and the pics were normal

It looks like it's on a gate, but my truck doesn't have it. If it SHOULD have one, then I guess I need to find $150 :)

Can someone please tell him the bad news that it isnt a 15 window. Nor is it a combi. I dont want to possibly go back and forth with some other person as just happened on fakebook when i told them it was a 60s beetle and not a 71 as they insisted. And also with a guy about a window bus going back and forth as to how many windows it was.
