It was a Magnacharger

DaveM Tue Apr 25, 2006 10:30 am

anyone ever run across a magnacharger (sold by DDS)... magnacharger part number, etc?

Richard Roth Tue Apr 25, 2006 10:33 am

I know where there is a complete VW magnacharger on a motor near me.
I have been trying to pursuade the owner to sell for awhile now.

A Judson Pepco

John,
My guess is either by chance a previous owner was named Judson and put his name on it for some reason, or it was rebuilt by a company by the name of Judson and stamped to mark his work.
Just a coincidence.

or someone didnt know what it was but knew it was for VW. put judson on it so he could sell it

For what it's worth and no more informed than anyone elses, here's my two-penneth.

Like any company in a competitive market it's always wise to know what the opposition is doing.

Maybe it was bought by Judsons for evaluation...and marked to identify ownership.

Hmm yes I can see what you mean...I'm looking for the original .psd files at the moment, before I reduced the res back in the days of slow internet connections.

For all of you with failing faculties I've just made a slight improvment with "The Autoist" article http://vwjudsonregister.tripod.com/autoist_page1.htm but the original that was sent to me a few years back was a scan of a photocopy.

"farkengruven" If you do have an original of the article could I beg a copy :)

That exact engine sits in the corner of Lee Leighton's shop.
The Fageol Twin Coach Works of Kent, Ohio also sold and I believe manufactured Pepco's.
