My 60 in Old Yuma |

My 61 built December 60 as found in Oklahoma:
I thought it was all OG paint but the RHS of the bus had a later door fitted and the whole side had been repainted. There was some accident damage on the A and B posts which were covered in lead.
I cut all the side panels etc off and had the bus blasted, which I now regret:
The roof was full of pin holes and badly damaged from having the donor roof strapped to it before it was shipped to the UK:
New roof skin trial fitted:
Those photos were taken a few years ago. Havent had chance to touch it since then really. |

I don't know if it's the lighting but it does look lighter to me.
Maybe it sat for 30 years folded down? |

I think your right EV. Look at the base 2 different shades. Deep clean might sort it? |

Anyone know how unusual a 1958 pressed bumper walkthrough mango with a 3/4 middle seat is? |

the bus nerds will want it. pressed bumper walkthroughs are not that many in any color. Not rare, but also a lot fewer than later walkthroughs.
10 walkthroughs for sale right now, none of them press bumper. |

I'd say any legit pressed bumper Mango would be uncommon since that is a short time frame.
I agree it's sort of a Bus nerd thing though.
Walk-thru would be even less common.
Short middle seat even less common, although I don't know if that would affect the value. Obviously if it has a nice original 3/4 caramel middle seat that is valuable. |
