Really like the Mobelwagen's - really havent seen many pics of what they look like on vanagons. Seems like all pics are either to dark or shot at angle. Those of you that have them, any pics you can share? One other question, are they the same weight as the GW/ASA wheels? (22lbs).

Thank you!

Same question. Looking to go up to 16s on my van and these are the lead contender right now. Any reports from those running them? I'd also love to see what setups use these riding at stock height.

I was browsing Instagram this morning and noticed @surlydoka has a few clear shots of the 512B on his orange Doka.

Thanks! I'll DM and find out if it's lifted. Hard for me to tell.

Mobelwagen Interceptor 512B with Yokohama Geolandar A/T in 215/70-R16. Schwenk Westy springs which are a near-stock height (less than 1" lift). I like these Interceptor wheels because they accept the OEM style hubcaps for a period-correct look, and because they're light at 23 lbs each. I don't like the 7.5" width, which fits, but is less than ideal. A 6.5" wheel width would be a better match for a 215 tire.

Amazing. Thanks!

I got stuck overthinking things but then finally read the fine print on ASA Type 9 : these rims eliminate need for spacers/new lugs/stud changes etc etc… makes life simple 8) I got the 16x7.5 from tire rack. 215/65/16 Grabber. No ET issues. Stock suspension. PERFECT FITMENT. Absolutely no issues on hard turns or speed bumps.

Much smoother and really stable ride.

205/80r16s on a gowesty lifted Multivan. Cheap tires but they ride well and will probably dry rot before I wear them out.

You are correct Mud Terrains

LOL No Secrects  I thought you could see them on there. These aren't the tires for the majority of our sophisticated compadres on this site. But I like em so far. ONly have have 500 miles on them.

Hello!

I just scored a set of 4 wheels like these for 80 bucks, but one chrome ring is messed up. No center cap, which I don't care much for anyway.

I was wondering if some of you had an extra ring they didn't use that they would sell?
I bet some of you are running them with the chrome center cap and no chrome ring :D

Aloha!

Cross-posting from the GoWesty alloy wheel replica thread.

Here's my van with the new GoWesty OEM-look wheels mounted. These are 16x7.5-inch wheels with 215/60R16 Vredestein Quatrac tires. Everything fits nicely, except the sliding door rubs the right-rear tire a decent bit. I can open the door, but I'm worried a zealous passenger could damage the sidewall.

The look of these GW wheels is great—a bit over-branded, but they got the OEM look just right. The change in sizing has made for a great improvement in braking, handling, and highway speeds. Acceleration feels the same around town but is a bit slower from 40 to 60mph.

Here's a "before" pic for comparison. 14" steelies on low mileage but old 185R14 Hankook Vantras.

Overall, I'm happy.

If you can't find a single, you can always get a new one. https://www.shopdap.com/69ae4543284923120dfd82b6f1b7d13d.html?gQT=2

Can any of you tell me what wheel this is? I stopped off at the beach near SF to see what tires this owner was running, since I can no longer get Nokian WRG's in 215-65/16 (garage door max height issue, sigh). Nice looking Toyo tires. a little chunky but seem to have stiff sidewalls, he said he really liked them so far. Then later I realized from the picture his wheels were pretty snazzy, but they are kind of Method clones (NOT from Burley). Any idea what they are?

I’ve been running Ronal R9s since I first saw them used by Project Zwo in Europe. They work great. Good clearances etc. I have two sets…one for streets and the others snow.

After lurking wheel fitment posts for months, I decided to try the Maxilite wheels and KO2’s. I would have liked 15” wheels for the sidewall profile, and I liked the old 14” KO2’s more square profile. The slider is .5-.75 clearance. Balancing was a little heavy because I didn’t want outer face weights.

Not mine, set of five Mercedes wheels (NOT CLK) and four tires, with spacers but no lugs. $500.
