| I would like some tips on increasing my 82 Vanagon's air-cooled engine performance. It dosen't have the water-box engine, and I don't want to do anything insane to make it a high-output fire-breathing beast. I just want somthing to increase the HP a little. I would like to be able to take on hills better, and get better acceleration, thats all. |

Is it serviced and in a good state of tune, thats allways a good start.

| Check the bay window Bus forum.. Lots of chatter there currently about my "Camper Special" engine.. It will make life better for you.. |
