I have to find the "Keep on Truckin" aka "Kraut Van" bus. It is my destiny. Absolutely period perfect obnoxious early 70's bus. I can just imagine the black naugahyde diamond-pleat interior with CB and chrome-foot gas pedal. Anyone know it's destiny? I'm sure it was confiscated in a coke bust in Laguna beach in 1978 or something.

Ive tried. No luck.

I love this bus. What a perfect piece of period americana. I Even contacted a few reps for various Van Councils (yes vanners still exist, they just drive shitty new conversion vans now). Noone knew of its existence, or anything about the Channel Island van Club.

Good luck on it!

Sick hillbilly style wells, flares, scoops, and wood bumper! And its poo-brown to boot:

Here is the bus after I hacked in some wheel wells:

Nice SC. The PO used to run paddle tires at Pismo Dunes, hence the heinous hack job! I just could not abide by the cut wheelwells. Since there were no repros available, I made them. They turned out so well I made a bunch and sold them in The OBR.

Cut wheel wells, and hacked reverse light holes. Wheels are still cut, reverse lights yet to be installed.

You guys have no idea of sick!
This 23 is the baddest, sickest bus of all times....

First pic to build a little tension...

Check it out closely, body bumpers that morph into the wheel flares
and that modular roof to fill up that nasty old sunroof hole!
