Another thread got me thinking about these often underrated "OTWs" so if you have one, post some pics! Of particular interest is the differences for the early years. Here's a few of my '65:

Well here's a thread that was inevitable for me to chime in on! LOL Arthur, you're lucky to have such an original interior...the trim piece and lamp above the driver's side windows is intact and those (along with the Riviera version of the spice rack) are really hard to come by!

Hi guys. Though I guess I am relatively unknown in this community I know who has a Riviera on here and both Arthur..and NorCal.have sweet Rivieras. Pics will come shortly of mine for you guys, I own a '67 (built Feb '67) factory Light Grey walk thru. The interior is all original and complete minus the lamp and spice rack. Have all other pieces, wood trim, tent, poles, and pole bag. It has the same picture window/slider configuration like on NorCal's. I absolutely love these conversions and strongly agree they are totally underrated. Nobody ever talks about them until someone sees mine, then it's all "Sweet Camper!" blah blah. Anyway, I think these are fantastic buses with as much character as any Westy of comparable year.

Walk thru? Cool! I didn't know they did walk thru conversions.

Yeah, I get the same reaction when people see my camper. :D

I know this will upset many, but the fact that Rivieras are so scarce now and so few were built compared to dime a dozen Westys of the same era makes them more desireable in my opinion.

I have a 67 Riviera with a pop top and its also a walk thru. I will see if I can figure out this picture thing and post a few.

Here's my camper, I think it's a riviera, but I'm not totally sure...

I've since replaced the mirrors and mirror arms with small round type.

Wow, great pics everyone! Keep them coming! Here's a few cdennisg emailed me. This is the first one I have seen that has the same curtains as mine!

Does anyone know why the years varied so much with windows, upholstery, wood material, etc.? Was it really jsut whatever was available?

Also, the rear cabinet on mine is a slider. Anyone else have one like that? Mine looks to be the mirror opposite construction as Mattoreg's. Sure makes it easier to get something when you are just laying there, eh? :)

Mattoreg, that's not a Riviera...I think it's an EZ.

AMG...when in Feb? Mine was built on Jan 30, 1967

Part of the problem with Rivieras is that they often used whatever was on hand that week...that's why many have picture windows, but not all. Most, I believe, were walk thrus...but clearly there are some full bench campers.

my old 67 Riviera was not a walkthrough, and it had a picture window on the side. :D

Here are 2 Riviera's I had. '66 had the turquoise interior.

The '67 had white tables with red cushions, and original tent.

Man, you guys have really inspired me to complete and restore my interior. Im Drooling over Long roof turq. interior, arthur's red interior and Empi collectors' BRM in the spare tire well!

Its a 66 walkthrough but its missing all the camping interior :cry: All it came with was the headliner, pop top, valance over the picture window, a swatch od turquoise vinyle behind the spare and miles of Blue Shag!!

Id really like to replace or rebuild the interior. Ive since aquired an EZ camper bed mechanism and cushions. Can I use these?

Ill get interior pictures posted as soon as i clear all of my boxes of parts out of the inside.
