Sorry to hear about your Cat Eric... 20 years is a wild long time.

If I ever get re-incarnated as a cat...I wouldnt mind beaing a cat at your place, pretty surroundings, nice folks and wonderful wheels to piss on

Erich...more endless positive energy coming to you from farther south.
Visualize the cancer removal like getting rid of rust on a car...wire brush it like mad, a little naval jelly and and the demon rust is history.

But dont use the same tools on yourself of course... icky

Randy,
You scare me... All I can think is, MONSTOR, MONSTOR GARAGE!!
I seven days we will take Erich Kircher and turn him into a....

Eric,
So sorry to hear about your cat. I have never owned a cat (do you own a cat or they own you?). But there was a Russian Blue in my parents neighborhood. Misty would lay in the cul-de-sac and everytime I would come home she would run over and let me pet her. She would even come when I called her name.
Loved that cat.
Erich

Dogs have owners.

Cats have "staff".

Friends,
I just wanted to let you know that Tuesday I go in for round two of Chemo. This is the big Chemo that really knocks things out.

Who is going to the Toy Lit show in L.A. this weekend?

Hi Erich, I'll be thinking of you, Wendy & Carsten- sending up thoughts, prayers and all manner of healing energy available; you just focus on getting well again...visualize flushing those n'eer-do-well cells out of your system like a fresh oil change in your VW and get back to 100% to ROLL w/ all your friends and supporters again! A difficult road you're facing, but you are strong and wholly loved by many YOU WILL PULL THROUGH :)
BTW, I'll be in L.A. hoping to see you, but If you need to conserve energy for recovery--understood;
we'll miss you,

-Grant

Today as I am packing for LA Porsche & VW show I have all these thoughts running thru my head, What to sell ( I have enough crap to fill 5 tables) and only bought 1 table, What to buy, I don’t need anything but want everything. Who might be there, it is a great show for seeing and hanging with old friends.

Then I started thinking about Erich and Wendy. For many years we have had a great time hanging with the both of you. Sharing old stories talking about our new cars & things we are looking for. Erich You will be there in our minds and prayers. If there is anything you are looking for or need for your cars or collection please let me know and we will be your eyes and try and find it.

Get well soon the Vw Classic is just around the corner by then Karsten will be wanting to drive your 48

I do not know Erich or own a Split, but I myself have Hodkins Lymphoma. I was diagnosed Oct of 2007 I know it is not as severe as stomach cancer but it is cancer all the same. I hope everything goes well with the treatment. I am also doing chemotherapy and only have 2 more months to go. It is not easy sometimes but it can be beat. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

It was great to see Erich and Wendy and their beautiful baby boy at the Toy and Lit show. I am so glad you guys made the trip. I sure hope you enjoyed it.

Its important to get out in the world and do the things you love to do...I think it's gotta be good for the healing process.

One of my favorite quotes is
"To live your life by fear is to live dying...
...to life your life by joy is to die living"

No matter where we are in life...grab on to the things you love and do them with all your heart. Focus on the good and more good comes into view...focus on the icky stuff and all you see is icky stuff.

So keep that up Erich!

Lets keep up the prayers and good thoughts folks...focus on the good stuff.

Well Guys I have been feeling fine and the chemo is going well.
Wendy and I went to UCSF in San Francisco for there opinion last week. They did not give us good news. :-(
I have been doing so well that we called my doctor and now we are working on Stanford University for a second opinion.
I will keep you posted.
Erich, Wendy and Karsten.

I kinda like the Monster Garage angle... Visualize sticking Erich's guts in the Sandblasting cabinet.... and then blast that crap right out of his system!

It's all about the visualizing. Eric knows that the "mental" is a huge part of any sickness. We are all "blasting away" for you Erich.

Well,
I have a referal to go to Stanford. We hope they will give me a better outlook then UCSF. UCSF wrote me off for dead.
We checked the doctors at Stanford and found a doctor that is more of a specialist in my cancer. So we may get a better outlook.
I will keep you guys informed.
Erich, Wendy, and Karsten.

P.S.
I got to get better by Solvang. I want to take the 48!!!
