My stocker that thinks it's a Cal-Look.

This one's on it's way to being a full blown looker.

What your laws says about not having bumpers? T-bars are legal?

Here are a few pictures from VW Greats magazine back in '75 of my red '67 Cal-Looker. This was one the first few cars to have Porsche alloys on it and the first VW to be in Hot Rod magazine. It was a great car.

Regards,
Jim

May not be that cal look, but this super beetle you have here is with out a doubt the most awesome super beetle I have ever seen. The turtlebacks look downright amazing on the white bug. Love the dash also! This would be gnarly with a suby engine in it

That was the idea from what I remember. The Single QP was all there seem to be back then as well. I ran into an older gentleman @ BugIn and he was runnin what appeared to be a Single QP. Upon closer look it was actually a Merged Single QP. Pretty neat work! He was obviously running a bigger motor but wanted to keep an early appeal.

Here's my somewhat cal 1303. I don't care how much you don't like Superbeetles

Is there a specific name for this paint job? I want to google more like this.

two-tone?

GreenMeanie Mon Jun 24, 2013 10:24 am

Tried that and got the normal two tone.
Was hoping there was a way to narrow down the search but so far no luck.
