You're right about money being less important than time too; sometimes the reality is it's just better to pay for a complete system than going around shopping for a year. In the end, it comes down to one thing-what's your time worth? Sometimes the answer to that question means the differance in what you end up with. I'll just keep doing MS conversions until I don't have the time do muck around with it anymore, then I'll probably be in your position; enough money, but not enough time.

BTW, I just got my Megajolt ignition kit, so I can do distributorless coil packs on my draw through turbo Corvair. I didn't like the way the distributor was bouncing all over the place causing ping under boost, so hopefully this will cure it. I'll leave the fueling to the stock carb, and program my own ignition.

yeah, being self-employed and having two small children, time is very short, and very valuable.... I've heard(read) great things about the megajolt even when used standalone with carburetted setups...

my draw through four barrel has the oil lines routed through the cast aluminum manifold to keep the fuel from puddling. and I guess it would help with icing if it were a problem due to high humidity? look at the bottom of the carb you can see the oil lines..
