Does anyone have any experience or knowledge as to the quality and performance of the hydraulic lifter and cam kit for sale by MOFOCO in their HotVW Magazine ads?

I have been told by a few different engine builders that installing hydraulic lifters in these engines have resulted in various problems - noisy running, reliability issues etc.
Besides, part of the fun of owning a 40 year old car with 80 year old technology is adjusting the valves right? |
