Is it alright to leave a case, crank, or cam soaking in mineral spirits overnight?

| Better than gasoline as far as safety goes. I'm very relieved that I don't wash parts in gas for the very most part. When I do it's usually for a stubborn stain on something that did not respond to the usual treatments. |
