Slam that thing on earlies

(just kidding of course)

Patina..???? You've got to be kidding. Come on Randy, you're not trying to sell it. It's a piece of rust shaped something like a VW. :D If you look really hard at it.........................you might even find an image of the baby Jesus.

Now that's funny :D

Maybe Carl Barks or somebody from Disney was a designer of that Kohlruss

? this car has bd reduction gears?

sunnybug84 Tue Mar 31, 2009 9:37 am

My guess is, since its a ealry 40's car that this arent bd reductions but kübel reductions. Its based on a complete kübel chassie including the front and rear axles. even the pan is kübel due to the drain holes. (i hoped i called them right :D )

old shot of a steyr... from oldtimer.net

James D Mon May 25, 2009 11:39 am

New photo of a Steyr Puch.

The sunroof was not added by the coachbuilder BTW - they all had them as standard AFAIK. Its a huge sliding panel.

In the UK, there is Bob Shaills Kdf Steyr, which was maybe based on a badly front end wrecked Steyr, as it seems to have rather more VW sheetmetal than most.

peter schepens Wed Jul 01, 2009 1:43 pm

I had a long conversation with the owner. Nice guy, He told me lot of new info.
At this moment he will be hopefully at home back and will take the car for a test drive.
That is all I can say now. So they will be updates soon .
Best regards Peter
