Richard Sedoris does high quality work. I've used him a few times now for reconditioning old heads and his attention to detail is both amazing and refreshing.

He's in the Youngstown Ohio area so if you're in the Great Lakes or Ohio, PA, NY or WVA it's not that far of a ride. And of course he ships as well.

Richard races VW's as a side hobby, so he knows his stuff when it comes to performance. But even with stock stuff his work is first rate. I bring him old stock stuff like 36HP, 40HP & 1300 S/P heads and he really takes care of them. Below are some examples. I had some heads (what appeared to look like nice unmolested 1300's) that had been sitting around for at least 30 years. Before bolting them up I gave them to Richard to check them out and boy am I glad I did. The pictures speak for themselves.

Richard went through another set of SP heads for me. They looked like total ass when I dropped them off and look titties now. Great work as usual, high attention to detail! Had him clean up a flywheel too. Great job on that as well!

Rich is my main man when it comes to engine machine work, I've been dealing with him for years now.
I just picked up my third (3) rebuilt engine from him and dropped off a fourth.
His attention to detail is like no other and I know when I get it back...it's done right!

After a few recommendations from members of the LEAKOIL group, I took a crappy 40hp rebuild to Rich for a big bore 40hp build. Attention to detail is amazing. I'm more than happy with the work that Rich has done.

I rebuilt my carbs for the 1st time and had problems. Rich sorted them out. Defective floats , needle and seat from rebuild kit. He replaced these parts and engine fired right up. He is detail oriented, conscientious, meticulous, good communication. No price gouges . My trusted midwest source. Thanks Rich.

Bought a set of unused Porsche piston/cylinders from Rich. Great communication, fast to ship and parts were well packed. Aside from a good price, the parts were immaculate & you can tell he not only knows his stuff but really cares about what he's doing.

Rich, Thank you for offering up the new black pop out window knobs for my 66 bug at a fair price. I have been looking for a set for the last year and no suppliers have had the black ones available.
Rich was very responsive. Transaction was quick and easy and I had the knobs in my hands in 3 days after sending the payment. I would certainly buy from Rich again.

Bought a used and great-shape header system with a muffler. He took very detailed pictures of any issues and the quality of the unit. Also took great care with packing it up so it wasn't damaged during shipping. I would gladly buy from him again.
