Hey guys I am thinking of dropping either a 1915cc or a 2110 Stroker. What would the Horsepower differences be? Also I am not really sure the diff between stroker and non. Any onfo would be appreciated. Both of these are turnkey. BTW this is going into a 1971 Fasty |

IMHO, if the money doesn't matter, go with the 2110. You won't be sorry.
Stroker means the travel of the piston in the cylinder is longer than stock. In a 1600 or a 1914 the stroke is 69mm. More stroke will give more CC. |

Thanks for the advice. Also I am buying the engine from ImportMotor.com, has anyone here heard anything about them or have any advice about them? |

Doesn't ring a bell.
Use the search function in Buyer Seller feedback. |

Post a link to there adds for the engine, a lot engine seem like a good $ deal , but they leave out parts like ported heads which really kill power.
Middle of the road 1914 should make 130hp same everything in the 2110 should add 20hp on that. |

The 2110 would be the way to go. You will want to drop ship them a set of heads ported for your application idf you are going to use any cam bigger than a W100 and even that cam benifits from correct porting. You need to get a full description of what you are buying what brand name of each of the parts are. New or reground cam and lifters. What the compression will be set to. Someone I know bought a complete 2110 for a lot of money, every part was Empi and most of them broke or fail before the cam could get broken in. Caveat Emperor. |

Don't buy a turnkey. Contact someone like Anabel Chico and have the engine you want built. |

If you hafta give names and or pretty colors to your engines to give them some balls ide look elsewhere, take your time to research now or yule have plenty of time later to regret hasty decisions.Mick. |

Damn, that's a nice car. Does the engine run hot due to the non-vented deck lid? |

thanks for the comps. actually i am still breaking the engine in, only have a 150 miles on it, and it has and external oil cooler with thermastat and fan also has stock style oil cooler in doghouse. it runs just right, oil temp around 195- 200, head temp around 250+-, and that is during break in runs :D |

hmm, 1915 or 2110... how can you turn down displacement. i was sketchy about putting my 74mm crank in my engine, but what a difference between my engine and my buddies almost identical 1776. an 82 crank is something you need to drive to feel, its completely worth it, especially if its going in something heavy. |
