Hi Steve, where are you in the UK? I have some 60s ET mag alloys on my beetle if you are into that kind of look:-

LOL. Everyone get's anal over anything non VW. Those are Chevy bolt patterns!
I couldn't find any photos of ET mags (for VW) that could easily be photoshopped. So, I just lifted the same mags off a Corvette.

With the blue color, look's like an Alpine A110. |

Claude, your english is great. By the way, I spent 9 years directing commercials in Canada, a few in Quebec. Fantastic city.
AS for it looking like a Alpine... not even close. The color is coincidental. This is a photoshopped prototype that I've rendered using various parts and pieces of other cars. Mostly it's my own design with everything illustrated over the original chassis photo. :D |

just a thought....for the racetrack look....what would it look like with Fender skirts front and back...and or make the wheel wells follow the tire diameter...? just an idea..

no bad thing. It's the only French car which I can appreciate with the Bugatti. |

from the 2 cars, the blue one seems nicer, and well balanced. i agree the wheel wells are a bit too wide, but that can be changed.
one thing though, the original car has the "door"area in a different way than the photoshops, how will the door fit there?
how about some air scoops for the engine ? if it's mid mounted it will need some cold air suction system from outside.
too bad i cannot draw or use photoshop... i said it could be a nice creative contest, but now madfish gets all the credits.. aiheitiu  |
