my split is almost ready. i will go the 2000km route crossing romania, Hungary, Austria and Germany. will leave on 18-19 June from capital city of Bucharest. hoping all is fine, you will see my split at Camberg, only one from romania. just come and say hello in English or French (German plays tricks on me each time.. :lol: )

I've booked flights and should be visiting on the Saturday. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the cars from this forum as well as all the others. It would be nice to meet and say 'hello' too :D

We should arrange a time and meeting place for a samba gathering. Beer tent at 12 noon on Sat? Put something on a table, or on your head to indicate a "SAMBA" get to know?? Group pic?

We did that in '07, although I totally forgot about it and missed it. Perhaps this year I can be a little more attentive. Perhaps Zarwerks can buy the first 10 beers for those who show up? What do you say???

Ok, then lets do this. Get a sticker and print on it your samba user name, and put it on your shirt, hat, forehead, etc. "Hello, on thesamba I am ....." would be good.

I will be there this time, in the beer tent at noon.

you will recognize us no problem, we'll be in the only romanian split. i can't wait to meet John, Wiggy and the rest of you Samba guys! :wink:
Mircea will be there with me, he aways complained i didn't took him for a ride in the split! now he will have at least 2000km behind the wheel, on a 4000km euro road trip!

Good idea with the sticker, but it is easy to find out the us guys....... you are hidding your beerbottle :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
See you on friday also? Thats my talking day, and on saturday / sunday is business day.

we will be starting on friday morning from Darmstadt were we meet a dear friend and some of her German friends, then off to Camberg, first off stopping at the camping site then on to the show field.

We are flying over but wondered should we attend the show both days on Friday and Saturday or can you do the show in one day and if so which is better? THANKS!
