This coming April will be 15 years married, and September will be 24 years total. It took us 12 years to start having children and we now have three. Two girls 11 and 7, then the 3yo boy bringing up the rear. I made sure he will be the last child a couple of years ago ;).
Things aren't perfect but they are functional, and we both still wrench on the VW's... |

same reason we did: because we decided to make the commitment to each other... marriage and children aren't necessarily tied to each other...
will be 20 years married in November - no kids, don't want 'em.... |

I wish there were more people that would have realized they didn't want kids before they had them. I applaud you for thinking ahead. Raising kids is a helluva commitment. |

My wife and I have been married for 13 years. We have two daughters, ages nine and six.
On a related note, my youngest just lost her first tooth tonight. The tooth fairy had a hell of time finding it too. |

As of February 28, I have been married 3 years this time. We have 2 beautiful children, and she is definitely my angel sent from God above to help mold me into the man I was meant to be.
I was married 13 years the first time, and it was pure hell every freaking second of every day. I still have no idea why I married the first one, except for convenience's sake. I guess it was easier to stay with her, than to look for another place to get laid once in a while. It would have been much, much, much cheaper and easier on me to go out and pay for it though. :x |
