how about starting a separate thread about this, since the date change may effect other show scheduling and people's planning.

This is great news! We will start planning something for Sat night. Last Fall Farmington, we had pumpkin car bombs, cheeseburger soup and some pretty terrible singing around a great fire pit. Good times!

Hell yes! I'm more excited about this whole weekend now! CTS is the only show I've ever been to up that way since it's quite a haul for me. I'm pretty stoked to get to go to the Farm for once too!

Agreed! Def makes it more exciting when there is a full weekend of events. Hope it can all work out this time and maybe become an annual thing.

Shirt design is still underway, however we are excited to announce that the location is set for CTS 9 at The Hodges Farm in Charlotte, NC.

There is plenty of grass, and the area we are looking at has trees and picnic tables, which is a very nice change from the usual CTS venue.

I am in - looking forward to it.

Location scouting was a huge success. We went out to the farm on Saturday with a small group of interested volunteers to walk the property and start planning the parking and show areas.

Mr. Hodges expressed interest in offering hay rides for the kids, and we talked some about what kinds of foods he will have available. He did say he was going to talk with his BBQ connections, as well as some local vineyards too that like to offer tasting at his events.

We have so much room to grow and expand here, and we are excited to announce that we are adding a vintage bicycle show and swap in conjunction with the bus show.

We are also going to offer a VW Parking only section for those who come without an air cooled bus, but would like to participate in the event.

The show is only 3 months away! I can't wait to see everyone again.

Here is some more info regarding the Vintage Bikes.

I had a few good questions I wanted to address on the thread.
There is no need to pre-register for the event.
We will be hosting our pre party Friday night at Monkey Nut VW, as well as getting together for a post party at the Farmington Dragway Saturday night.

February is almost over. Is it too early to be ready for May yet?
