Yeah, what a mess. I can hear that noise and after removing the air filters the barrel of the carb is full of gas. 75 rebuilt by me to a 1775 with dual solex 35's. I have a holley pressure regulator and like earthquake need a bit of help. Adjuster out or in to decrease the pressure? The directions from holley kind of suck.
Thanks, paul.

I've never used a regulator, or even examined one up close.. but I would guess that it's gonna be like a faucet handle.. when you tighten it, the stem moves down to block flow...

I could be wrong though..

Loosening the locknut and and turning the adjustment screw clockwise increases the pressure and vice versa. They also warn that turning the adjustment screw all the way in will result in excessive fuel pressure and cause the carburettor to flood...
