hi all thought it was time to say hi and introduce myself

my names eccles and im a lad from melbourne australia

a few of my mates and i have a little type 3 crew we have started in our hood so we can do summer rollin in a group of like minded peeps

we call ourselves type3contingent and have a few peeps onboard and i thought id start a thread to show my cars and maybe a couple of the other lads will join in

we designed our little logo around the aussie vw logo of times gone by and gave it our own twist and made it a little more to our liking

heres our design

we had some crew gear knocked up for shows

then had some without lettering made up to sell

theres a few of us already rollin our type 3s and a few being built as a group

ill start with my daily notch

as i got her 10 months ago and i named her miss vivie after an old family friend

aas i got her

then a couple of progress shots as o moved along with making her mine

heres the first look i went for

then another change of heart

and so on

and now she is sitting like this

so the bug hit hard and a few good mates got cracking and vws troo, we been building a couple but ill let them post in here too and show you guys what we all been doin

i started building another of late for my wife, nothing like a vw family

my little brother is looking for a beetle
lewis is looking for an early square
chrisso is building a 69 square
marcus is building a 72 square
dave is building a late fastie and theres a mulitible of others already roliin but they can add if they feel the need

heres some pics of the 72 square im building for my wife

ill throw up some pics of the 69 chrisso is building while im at it

the 69 should be back with us this weekend then its paint and interior but ill let him tell and show you more

for the other lads in the contingent feel free to post your pics and build too

cheers and thanks for reading

Well I'm another one of the T3C crew! Have been working on this Fasty for a while and just about ready to fire up this weekend all things going to plan. I'm a Melbourne lad but moved to Ballarat 18 months ago to chill out and semi retire, well that's what I tell the wife.

Donk back ready to go in

Plastic fantastic dash

Also went for a cruise with the local VW club up here and took a few flicks, one early Fastback in the club too

Any time mate!
Very happy with how it looks, wasn't too excited when it almost came off the jack under the car and I had to bench press it back on. Wife heard a few choice words as she was helping up top.
