I've got 2g's to burn on a replacement engine for my 74std. Currently running stock 1600 which is plenty of power for me. Looking at this 1914, I'm thinking it should increase my hp by a few. What do the gurus think?

Do the 042 Head UpGrade, you will like it more, I run 041's and are swapping them out for 042's Ported and all...... Did not see what Cam it has..

Oil Pump upgrade if it is a reputable one and Fly Wheel to the 12lbs.. Cool -set-up I think..... RB

First off, look at the feedback then make your decision: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=224339&highlight=mofoco

If 2k is the limit, what about shipping fees, carbs to run the engine and etc?

You really need to call Roy and talk to him. He'll tell you exactly what you need.
