Dellotos may be a better carb for the VW, but the Weber carbs are much more popular in the Hot Rod and Street Rod V8 culture and are more marketable to a broader range of users throughtout the country.
Redline is the only authorized Weber Distributor here in the USA. If you buy a genuine "made in Spain" weber carb from anybody in the USA it came through Redline. |

Maybe they get more of a thrill ripping off someone who is still in business. Nobody would care at all if they started making dellortos. That might take some of the fun out of it for them.... |
