Hi there,
I have a1974 Westie and it has a 1800 in it. I want to replace it without too many mods to the van. Can anyone tell me if there is a decent motor I can use? Can I find a Porsche engine that will work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I plan on changing the motor, then shipping it to Dubai.

| is there a reason you are changing the engine?? is the 1.8 bad or are you looking for a larger / more powerful engine? |

| It runs ok, I don't know if I should spend on rebuilding it, or try to get more power by replacing it. A Porsche engine just seems cool. I drive fast cars usually and although I don't expect my van to be a racer...more power would be nice. And if I bring it to Dubai, I really need to be able to drive at 130 kph on the highway....that is slow for here. Any thoughts? |
