No, but 1/8" NPT will fit. It's about 0.98 pitch.

What?????? 3/8 will not fit, the fitting is metric not imperial, its not NPT, its a metric tapered thread |

the thread is M10x1.0 and is straight. You can put a 1/8" NPT which is tapered.

It does fit, just don't force it in. I've removed many NPT Tees and installed metric senders with no problems. |

correct... thanks John.
Quote: Use this Tee fitting if you are going to run both am oil temp and oil pressure sender off the stock sender outlet. The male thread is 1/8" pipe and both female threads are M10-1.0 , |

Sorry Glenn but your wrong on this one, 3/8 is miles too big, the fittings typically used for full flow return to the case is 3/8 NPT, as Mr Scott says, the closest is 1/8"NPT which will fit but isn't the correct for the original threads and if over tensioned will pull the threads out
Damn slow typing again... |

Correct... 1/8, not 3/8. Sorry. |

US pipe thread fitting will destroy the threads in the case. Also, there is no way the
OP switch/sensor can seal without there being tapered M10x1.0 threads. Most OP
switches I have seen have slightly tapered threads. |

there is nothing wrong with 1/8NPT, I've been doing it for over 30 years and never a stripped case. |

Agreed, the thread pitch of 1/8 NPT is 0.98 which is close enough to 1.0. |
