they also have one of the 28 cylinder (corn cobb) engines at Hiller Aviation Museum at the San Carlos Airport about half way between San Francisco and San José California .
this engine is a cut away one that is powered by a small electric motor so you can see it operate. it has a turbo compound, which is an exhaust driven turbo that thru clutches and gear reduction puts power back into the crank shaft!!!
the Hiller museum has many interesting aero engines on display, well worth the price of admission for any "gear head". right off freeway 101 on the San Francisco peninsula.

| I love going to the naval musseem at NAS Pensacola , home of the blue angles and cradle of naval aviation. oh so awesome. if your in the south it's worth making a trip there. if you time it right you can see one of the many shows the angles put on or thier practice. I saw them flying monday as I was visiting my dad. |

I liked very much your job!!!
I work with Light Airplane Constructions and I have used VW engines in my projects for long time.
I´d like to buil a Radial VW like yours. Have You construction drawings to sell?

I went to that museum a bunch of times when I was in A school there. It's fantastic. You could find new things to see each time you go. If you have any interest in aviation, it's definitely something to see. |
