| It was running fine then just died at a stop sign, started right up but I had to keep the throttle open |

| Sounds like possible clogged idle jet. You can pull it and clean it and.or try the $1.98 tune up. Rev it up to around 3000 and then cover the carb top with your hand till it almost dies - sometimes will suck the crap through. |

| Sounds like the wire fell off the idle cut off solenoid. Or the solenoid is defective. |
