| Can anyone tell me what size plug is needed in the bottom of the case half on the 3/4 side? I tried filling with oil first time and it ran right out of this hole as fast as I poured it in. It is towards the rear of the engine and is slightly left of the oil pump. Can anyone identify this for me? |

Are you talking about the oil pressure control port? If so that requires a spring, plug/piston and a screw plug. The engine will quickly seize without those components. It is lucky that you didn't get further.

Yes, those are the parts I needed. I have the pieces now and will be installing shortly. Glad the oil ran right out or I would have been in a heap of trouble.
