Can someone estimate my Horsepower and Toque Please?
-1776 Single Port Stock Valve size
-Dual Weber ICT
-Eagle Racing Type 1 Camshaft, 2280 Grind (Cheater Cam)
Cam Specs: .359" Cam Lift, .394" Valve Lift (1.1 Rockers), 274 degrees advertised duration, and 222 degrees of duration at .050", on a 108 Lobe Center.
-Tri Mil Ceramic 2 Tip Exhaust
-Counter Balanced
-Lightened Flywheel

Also...Would I have been better off with Big Valve Heads?

1966 Beetle

Thank you

If anything, you could put a header on it. Sounds like a nice balanced setup.

would you by any chance know HP and Tq?

why did you post the same thing in numerous location here?

Your phone could guess more accurately than we could, based on how it's actually running and performing in your vehicle. Look for an app, there's a few.

My spitball guess would be somewhere between 60-70hp at the flywheel, close to 90ft/lbs torque on a decent tune.

Build it, you'll like it. I'm loving my 1700 with the single 34-Pict. Mine is a dual port, I almost did the single port thing! Running the same cam you are and loving it! Don't know the power output yet as I'm still dialing the thing in as far as tune.

Let's just say it keeps up with modern traffic and then some! Amazing what a light flywheel, a small cam and 120 cc's more will do to a car.

Dual Weber IDF or HPMX 40's will buy you another 10 HP... Better exhaust like 4 into 1 will also make some gains...

About 70 and 85 foot lbs torque, if the tune is good

Stock Hp is 60 and stock Tq is 88 based on a Dyno Sheet from a VW trend exhaust system test. How can HP only go up about 10 and torque go down? Am I missing something?

The SP heads and only 222° @ .050" is going to kill your rpm range, which means your overall power will be less than your heart desires. The added displacement and decent lift should add some torque and move the torque band lower in the rpm range, possibly. The big X factor is how well it's set up and tuned, fuel, weather, etc. Lots of variables we can't guess. So why don't you just find out what it's actually making, since you don't seem to trust our guesses...What numbers would you like us to give you?

I base it from dynoing 100's of engines, experience.

would the addition of 1.25 rockers offer much improvement?

Not enough to notice
