And now for something completely different....
Found it locally and it's mint. So odd I might use it.

I was informed that I'd have better luck placing my request on this thread, so here goes.
Does anyone recall this dealer(Imperial VW Porsche|Audi) in Dothan from the '70s? I'd love to see a picture of the dealership or a license plate frame from there. I have an aircooled car(Porsche) sold new from there in 79.

The only thing I see from Dothan on the dealer list is HAMAC Corp. but the list is by no means all inclusive and I'm sure one of the guys will chime in shortly with a pic of a plate frame for ya. |

I see that finding a plate frame is a pretty difficult feat, and probably an expensive one, but figured I might as well post in here to see if anybody had one.
Thanks
There are two different metal ones, I have both.
Mr. Johnson is still in business and still owns the dealership.
PM me if you want some swag (new stuff - key chains etc.) from the dealer.
IF I can find another metal one I'll sell it.
He opened in 1968.

I have a frame from Larry Johnson VW, in LaGrange, Ga. Wonder if the dealerships were family related?
I am almost positive that Al has nothing to do with that dealership.
