It's a 3 bolt/flat cam, with just 280 stamped into it, nothing else. Seemingly stock 1600 in a VW recycle case.

Dunno, but you should drain the oil before pulling the oil pump. |

What I noticed was the wear marks on the cam slot,
like maybe the drive tang of the oil pump isn't fully engaged deep enough in the slot in the cam. |

Yeah, saw that too. I have a dished pump that I want to put in, but saw the cam and decided not to, although i should have measured the depth. |
