changed this out almost yearly, 2nd time now. is it the quality of the parts or i have been installing wrongly? if not, any good ones out there that doesnt break that fast?

You can get those in urethane or rubber. Same as sway bar links in many cases; just match up the size. IMO it is ok to use urethane in this location but usually I hate it.
Even the cheap ones hold up fine in my experience. Doorman and monroe, ect, ok brands.
I don't know where to buy low quality ones. You tell me.

X2 far too much, the rubbers should just start to bulge when you tighten the nut down. Stop there
