Hey Guys, I have an 82 Vanagon that a recently purchased, it was running fine. I started it up one morning, went to put it into drive and it died out and would not start. I came back later that evening and put the gas peddle to the floor and it fired up, drove it around turned it off turned it on with no issues. The next morning I started it no problem and then once i put it in to drive it died again, and I couldnt get it started. Tonight I finally got it started again, but it was a rough long start, once again when i put it into drive it dies and has one hell of a time restarting. Im boggled, i change the fuel filter check all the plugs have spark. Any ideas?
