I just realized, I never specified VWs for this thread! :lol:
I remember those cars! It's a Marx ZOOOM MOBILE. Here's the listing from the 1965 Sears Christmas catalog.

Another great Christmas shot of a Pines pedal car under the tree.
I remember these from my childhood, but I was too old for one, so I envied them from afar ....
Of course as an adult collector, I can have anything I want! :lol:
These were very popular, and thousands were sold, but nearly all of them were put out to the curb when they were outgrown.
