An ad for the Tonka VW in a Canadian catalog. Tonka did have a Canadian factory, and it will be marked on the sticker on the back.

Great vintage photo of the Taiyo bump-and-go
The hook on the front is to keep it from falling off a table. It will change direction when it reaches the edge.
Taiyos came in many variations. Here you can see the two hubcap styles, early and late. |
