all these 'inexpensive' baskets need straps for heavy things, the steel just ain't there. maybe an 090 is overdoing it but loop straps around the hatch hinges work great.

It was on super sale for like $50. It's handy as hell. Showers, dog de-sanding of their feet, washing cars where hard water is out of the tap. You can wash with the normal hose to clean and finish with these units filled with soft water or distilled. Enjoy it!

This is the CDN Stanley website where they are offering their Pro Camp Cookware Set for 50% off at ~$97:

I purchased this set last year and gave it a good workout over the past month while on a 24 night road trip and can attest to the quality, versatility and easy clean-up of the various pieces. The only drawback is the that the handles on the large pot can get hot while cooking over a Coleman stove, necessitating a tea towel for a pot holder. I thought I got a great deal at $148......

I also purchased the 48oz coffee press which also perform well, but does require a paper filter to reduce the grounds. YMMV.

My wife bought me the GSI branded version of this a couple years ago. Has held up well, and packs down nice and small.

I'm no expert but my understanding is Teflon (PTFE) is a "forever" chemical but it only by heating it up to very high temperatures will it become the grim reaper.

I watched a great video explaining this, dig some and you will find it.

The Stanley set is full stainless steel, so no coating to break down. We abandoned coated cookware for camping a while back as the high/concentrated heat of the gas stove burners inevitably (seemed to) caused early failure of the coatings, even on quality pieces.

It looks like you choose either straps or net but they sent me both plus a huge cargo bag.

I mounted it without using the extension and hinged feature, I thought it was more important not to have the load cantilevered any more than I have to. I think that's okay.

What color is your van rear section? It appears to be a respray because of the difference to the forward pane and it appears creamy. Pastel White was the original paint, I think.

It's Elfenbein (Ivory).

The tailgate and rearmost side panels are original paint.

The next forward side panels and slider door were resprayed about 25 years ago.

Paint matches + time yield varying results. That's also fairly unflattering light in that photo.

Here's a pic from a few minutes ago. Dappled light (or dirt or rain or dark of night) can improve the look of the paint.

Whoops, turns out mine is the Stanley branded one, all stainless. I have a mix of brands in my kitchen kit.
